You start the game, having just visited a shopping mall and entering the underground parking lot to search for your car. You're parked in spot H9, which should not be too hard to find. However, not for long, the lights turn off, and the horror starts.
You can use your key fob to get your car to flash and give you some indication of its location. However, in the darkness, freaky monsters lurk. Not only that but the parking lot shifts, meaning it is not easy to get to the car. One minute you can be 20 yards away, and the next, you can be on the opposite side of the lot.
spot H9 uses simple controls. WASD lets you move around, while the LMB keys allow you to use the key fob. The mouse, meanwhile, enables you to look around. However, as mentioned, the game is rough around the edges and suffers from glitches. Pressing the keys too many times may trigger the character to stop moving or the game to crash. Moreover, the ending is more absurd than crazy.
Is the game good?
All in all, spot H9 is a fun little indie horror game. It offers a tense atmosphere and some freaky moments to give you a good scare. The gameplay is simple, but the jumpscares are enough to give a terrorizing experience. Although, as noted, it is far from perfect.
